This seventeenth volume of AutoRicerca contains a collection of short texts written by Antonella Spotti and published online over a period of four years, between 2014 and 2018.

As was the case with issue 9 (2015) and issue 11 (2016) of the journal, this issue also offers readers material that originated on social media, demonstrating that those who truly care about communication are always able to find a healthy compromise between adopting a simplified form of expression, dictated by the nature of the medium and the average level of attention of its users, and the opportunity to convey valuable information in a widespread manner to a large number of people, dynamically and in real time.
