Cronache covidiane

The new publication of this twenty-fifth volume of AutoRicerca, three years after the first edition, represents an opportunity to contribute to an open public analysis.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been an epoch-making watershed, comparable in global scope only to events such as the world wars or the great influenza of 1918. But while those events have been the subject of layered historiography, this story is still unfolding.

Questioning and exploring public and private testimonies is an unavoidable task.

The management of the pandemic has had a traumatic impact on health, the economy, politics, relationships, language, and the collective imagination. Faced with such complexity, a multiplicity of perspectives is needed to gather different accounts: scientific, institutional, media, but also experiential/existential.
