The path of sixteen dances

Conscious dance can be understood as a path that weaves an intuitive thread, guiding us from one experience to another, from one observation to the next. By meeting the dancer within, we discover how movement can carry us beyond the “me” with which we identify each day.

We will dance every Tuesday, from 3 February to 19 May 2026, journeying through 16 original compositions by sound researcher Federico Milanesi. Since 2022, these pieces have been presented in immersive sessions organised in cycles of four — Mystic Dance, Wave Dance, Discovery Dance and Silent Dance — and are now offered as a weekly pathway.

Upon arrival, participants gather directly in the Mammut room. Unlike the Thursday evening practice, which begins with a moment of attunement, this format moves straight into dance without guidance. Each person brings their awareness and their present state of mind, which become the first note of their individual practice. Throughout the 16 sessions, the underlying suggestion is to dance with whatever is moving within us, recognising the possibility of stepping out of the hypnotic pace of daily life and shifting toward a more intimate and harmonious mode of inner contact. The intention is for this quality and clarity to extend beyond the practice space, into the larger dance of life.

At the end of the session, there is a time for dialogue and sharing, with variable duration. Those who need to leave earlier, for personal or work reasons, may do so freely.

Short description of the compositions:

(1) Delicate, enveloping and oriental-tinged; supports awakening.
(2) Powerful, with warrior drums and traditional Western instruments.
(3) Opens into a shamanic dimension, with Sufi, Celtic and Tantric influences.
(4) Leads into a slower, more intimate dimension, toward an inner “non-time.”
(5) A subtle, harmonious crescendo that encourages almost instinctive movement.
(6) Evokes distant worlds in an explosion of layered sounds and rhythms.
(7) Invites the dancer to find their own pace within a dense, continuous flow.
(8) Slow and poetic, offering a space for integration and harmony.
(9) An emotional journey through epic and surreal landscapes.
(10) A philosophical, boundless voyage that penetrates and expands every conceptual seed.
(11) An invitation to step beyond one’s personal sphere and co-create with others.
(12) A dynamic meditation celebrating interconnected unity and individuality.
(13–16) These final four pieces explore silence not as the absence of sound, but as a “vibrational space” that holds and supports it.
